Deck Options

The difference in dock decking options is between maintenance and cost.

Wood options being the least expensive, next aluminum and followed by vinyl.

Pressure treated is our least expensive and most effective solution. Pressure treated is typically used for swim floats and permanent docks and in some of our frame works although it has the most maintenance of all the decking options.

Cedar is a great option for those who want to keep it natural looking w minimal maintenance cost. Cedar is an easy to maintain option for a reasonable price. The thickness of the cedar depends on the dock line you choose. (Alummi-lite is 1.4 inches- Alummikon-1.5).

Aluminum is a great option if you’re looking for no maintenance to very low maintenance. Aluminum lasts a lifetime. We guarantee our product for 1o years.  You should never need to replace your dock decking. The designs and manufacturing process is in place so aluminum does not get hot to the touch- Even in DIRECT SUNLIGHT!!!

Vinyl is a little lighter than cedar and aluminum and is low to very low maintenance. All you will need to do is clean the surface with a hose or pressure washer and voila; your dock is in the water. Vinyl is also known to last a lifetime. The manufacturers guarantee is 15 years.
